T-Mobile brand settles well in Poland

Mobile operator PTC is succeeding with rebranding its network from Era to T-Mobile, as surveys show T-Mobile already enjoys a slightly better spontaneous brand recognition than Era brand had at the moment of its disappearance, PTC CEO Miroslav Rakowski claims.

Rebranding should also stop consumer flight, which recently reduced PTC to #3 position on the market.

However, the goal of becoming #1 mobile operator is unlikely to be reached this year.

Rebranding has cost to date 30-40 million zlotys, estimates show, and the total cost could exceed 100 million zlotys.
