Every fifth working Pole considers emigration for work - survey

Poland is likely to see an outflow of workforce in the months to come as some 20% of working Poles would like to seek employment abroad
within the coming 12 months, according to a survey run by job agency Work Service.

The drive to leave the country and start professional career abroad is the strongest in the 18-24 age group with every third young Pole wanting to leave.

These are alarming data which confirm that a number of post-graduates do not see chances for development on the Polish labor market, Work Service's CEO Tomasz Hanczarek said.

The survey shows that the main reason behind emigration plans are too low wages in Poland.
