Poland unforgettable memories

Selected Attraction

The monument of Polish history and the monument of UNESCO - Zamość is a town which really deserves those titles. Planned perfectly by an Italian architect, Bernard Morando, Zamość is an example of a renaissance city. Not as majority of Polish towns, which were changing styles as the time was passing, Zamość was built as a whole in the XVIth and XVIIth century. An impressive cenral square (100 m long and 100 m wide) surrounds the town hall with its characterictic stairs. Beutifully renovated houses are placed around the square and in the neighbouring streets. And - what is also significant for the city - like at the beginning, the city is now govered by the president Marcin Zamoyski, who comes from the family of Zamość founders.
